By the end of Grade 8, students will:

• Overarching Inquiry Question: How should we respond to the opportunities and challenges presented by the ranging quality of life around the world? 

• Overarching Critical Challenge: Research, inquire, and propose a solution to improve the quality of life in a specific country in the world, ensuring any challenges and risks are evaluated and analysed. Present this solution in a creative manner.

• Big Idea #1: Quality of life and economic development around the world are influenced by various factors

• Big Idea #2: Issues related to inequalities in global development and quality of life can have social, environmental, political, and/or economic implications
